Childcare Allowance

Parents who have their children in childcare may be entitled to childcare allowance or a municipal subsidy.

Do you want to be eligible for childcare benefit? Then it is important to apply for childcare allowance within 3 months after the month in which the childcare started. This way you do not miss out on a month of childcare benefits. Check the Toeslagen website of the tax authorities whether you are entitled to childcare allowance and apply for it immediately.

The amount of childcare allowance you will receive depends on your situation. For example, how much childcare you think you will need each month. You can make an indicative calculation on our website.

If anything changes in your situation, this will also affect the amount of your allowance. You should therefore always report changes, such as the amount of your income and childcare hours, immediately via Mijn Toeslagen on the Toeslagen website or the Kinderopvangtoeslag app app. Then you will receive the allowance to which you are entitled. Not too much and not too little.

Municipal subsidy

If you are not entitled to childcare benefits, you may be entitled to a subsidy from the municipality. The municipality will then finance part of the childcare expenses. Please contact us for more information.

We offer the following packages:

• All-in package: 40 school weeks + holidays and study days
• Basic package: 40 school weeks
• Holiday package: At least 5 holidays
• Separate holidays/study days: Applicable to anyone

All packages include the following:

• A warm meal
• Excursions*
• Free pick-up service from school to Majest
• Flexibility in swapping days (even in the same week)
• Qualified personnel
• Homework support

We offer the following two packages:

• 52 weeks contract: 38 school weeks + holidays and study days
• 48 weeks contract: Full year except for four weeks chosen by you
  For children from 3 years of age the KDV rates apply.

All packages include the following:

• Flexibility in swapping days ( in the same week)
• Qualified personnel
• Homework support

At KDV Majest, we offer childcare for children aged 1.5 years to 4 years. Regular childcare requires a minimum attendance of 2 half-day sessions spread over 2 days. We also offer VVE care. For VVE care, the minimum attendance is 3 half-day sessions on different days.

KDV Majest has a price of € 11,56 per hour.
The hourly rate is € 10,71 for children with a VVE-indication.

When your child is going to KDV Majest you may be entitled to the toddler allowance by the government. The municipality of Amstelveen may give you a subsidy when you are not entilted to childcare allowance of the government. The primary condition is not being entitled to childcare allowance.
